The Last Day of Freedom for a while...

So this whole week has been pretty fun and extremely productive... I took a week off before I start my real adult job because I figured I needed the mental break to switch gears. Greg had left to Miami until Wednesday and so I though I could get a bunch of stuff done around the house (since we pretty much never stay here). 

Monday I painted one room by myself... yes and it is extremely difficult more than you think... I also got errands done that I needed to do and made a request to withdraw my FICA money from UCF its not that much but it could definitely help pay for some wedding stuff. I was very proud of myself but slightly annoyed that I had to send the fax twice especially when I had to pay for the same fax twice...

Tuesday I went shopping with Becca and bought some more work stuff....(I swear I'm slowly spending my first unearned paycheck already) In all fairness I needed closed toes pumps which I got three pairs!!!! lol ..All on sale I might add...After that I lazed around the house

Wednesday Cleaned the house and hung out while Greg came home... went to FOCCUS that night which was actually really cool.. we go again in two weeks to see how compatible we are hahahaha after that we went to go get free floats at Sonics... it was insane ..enough said

Thursday... it was our POTLUCK we made pork loin, funfetti and mini hotdogs.. so many people came and brought food too. It was cool but it was all people who knew each other so there would be no awkwardness .... we had fun... annnddd the LA Lakers won.. I know I live in Orlando but I'm from Miami and love the Heat therefore I have no alliance to Orlando.. also the "candy man" from the Lakers is my soulmate....because he can digest so much candy

Friday... pretty much feel sooo tired but I tried to take the dogs to the dog park because they allow dogs to be unleashed right now...... Other then that just stalking people on facebook and the knot...

Wedding Updates and Pics!

Well my last blog was pretty much an apology and an update on my life in general... Now its time for wedding updates (:

Lots of Updates and Apologies

SO I am completely aware that I fail as a blogger by not updating regularly... The knot even warns girls about being boring bloggers lol.. Well I shall update everyone on my past few months...

I have quit the UCF Office of Research and have been working the past weeks or so training one of the girls to replace me. I know she is going to do awesome and hope she gets some sort of raise out of it! I felt sad leaving the office but I knew I had to in order to survive as a full fledge adult. They wouldn't be giving me the pay or benefits I will be receiving.... so that made my decision extremely easy...They had a farewell party for me which was really cute with some desserts a really cute slideshow and pins that said "We are going to miss this face around the place". I cried and thanked everyone for everything (: I'll still be going there once a week for bootcamp since its a workout for me too.

I also finally graduated and got my diploma in the mail. I've debated whether or not to bring it over to my new office but I'm not sure yet....

I start my new job in about 4 days.. I am super excited and nervous at the same time. I have really no idea what I will be doing. On the plus side my best friend starts the same day I do and so at least I'll have someone I know there.... which could be a good and bad thing lol... Nav Ar has been so wonderful to me how can I not be excited....

This week I had off and I've been so incredibly productive! I painted a room by myself worked on the yard and the house.. only less than 2 months until Greg moves in and we get settled... finally after 6 years lololol....

Thats about it for now! I'll post a little more about my wedding updates in a bit and some pictures! Gotta run to meet a friend for lunch ......

I got THE job!!!!!

I got the job... I was stressing out sooo bad just because Nav Air was giving me the thumbs up from the very beginning... Right after the interview I knew this was the job for me (: Their benefits and other pluses are a huge bonus as well as the fact that what they do is helpful ... bringing back soldiers home safely. I start June 8th which is bad and good.. I wanted to start earlier but it'll be good that I will have graduated.. I can't believe it!!!! This is a huge weight lifted off my shoulder. I wanted to have a real stable job before I got married and this is what this is! It's me growing up.. now only if Greg could find a job that is full-time I would be ecstatic!!

Updatinnnggg

So I've realized I'm lazy lol.. Let me update you all on this past week. So, I went to the Georgia mountain this weekend and ended up getting really sick.... I had a fever all three nights and came back home miserable ): I finally went to the doctor yesterday and they gave me a Zpack. It's been working so far and I feel a lot better. 

I'm still waiting to hear back from Nav Air and I honestly thought I would have heard back by now.... Bahhh lol The worst part about anything is not knowing when you will find out. I wrote them an email yesterday and got an out of town response....... so maybe I'll find out by the end of this week (: Fingers still crossed!

UPdates

Sooooo I have tons of updates! First off... I picked up MY DRESS today!!!!! I absolutely love it.. my mom came this weekend because Sunday is her birthday so it as been cool showing her everything I've been doing. She even came with me to book my florist and we are going to go see the country club tomorrow and meet the DJ!! As far as everything else.. meh... I haven't really been focusing on school which is bad but I'm definitely getting by. I have to finish my mid term by this Wednesday because Thursday... I'm off to the Georgia Mountains!!! So excited its my pseudo family going on vaca (: Also, I have updates about Nav Air. I had an interview this past week and I think it went really well (fingers crossed and knocked on wood and said a prayer) They've been emailing me back and telling me they'll be calling me soon. I'll let everyone know once I find out everything... This weekend was really fun too! I hung out with Ryan and Johnny and Jade. It was really fun they are such a trip! I am off to try to do more school stuff and stop this procrastination!

Weekends... I <3 you!

So this weekend has been pretty exciting.. Thursday (I know I know not the weekend) I got my notification letter from Nav Air which basically lets you know your qualified the job but are now just waiting for an interview.. If I don't get a call by Friday this week I'm basically done with them and need a plan B. That was exciting though to get that letter. Friday was fun! My friend Deana and I went out for a night downtown and went to go watch her friend play in AKA Lounge. When we first got there it was a bit out of my element and so we left to go to Ember. While we were at Embe rwe met Johnny from XL 106.7 and his little brother Ryan whom we love! We hung out with them for a while and made our way back to AKA Lounge. While we there Deana's friend whom we went to go to see acted like a total douche and barely acknowledged us while we there. She was heartbroken and so I told her we should just head out. We did and thank goodness I hated it there lol. That was pretty much our night. Saturday, didn't really do anything but run 4 miles, take Mitzy to doggy class and hang out with Greg. I was pooped cuz I only slept like 6 hours on Friday night. Today I have school stuff to do... which I'm actually doing right now but got side tracked (:... I might be posting pictures later from my trips and my night out this weekend... well see
